On February 21, 2024, a scientific and artistic event was arranged about World Mother Language Day entitled "Kurdistan is a country of language and cultural coexistence of its communities".

The conference was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Kamaran Younis M. Amin - President of Salahaddin University-Erbil (SUE), Prof. Dr Azad Aziz - the Acting Dean of the College of Basic Education, and Mr. Hoshmand Abbas - Assistant Dean, and teachers. The event was organized by the College of Basic Education of SUE in coordination with the Ministry of Education and school activities.
